School spirt at St. Xaiver is not at its best, it could be better. In recent years the football team has always been able to have a good size crowd. Most of the fans are alumni or live in the neighborhood, wanting to watch a live college football game. When the cougars where doing good last November and the game was televised, every seat in the house was filled. with people watching from the fence. How come on last friday their was not even a student section in the stands at a home opener. Their are many resons, the first is because it was a crummy night and it was raining. the second reason is it was on a thursday, not to many alumni are going to be tailgating and wanting to watch a game when they have work the following day. Students might of also been busy since school started that same week. their are many more games this season, we will just hve to see if the 09 cougars will draw a crowd like following years.
